I don't like to spend money on something that's just going to sit in the box.

Some people look at watches as art and having them in the box is fine - and that's great if that's what they want to do.

For me, if I'm not wearing it then I don't need it. I have too many other expensive hobbies to spend money on something that I'm not going to use. I actually just sold 2 watches that I liked very much but didn't get any wrist time.

Love the designs, can't stand the super cheap Chinese movements and I just really don't understand that choice. I know I'll never buy one.

Timex Expedition North

I think the rotor is actually louder than the ticking, though

I bought a pre-owned Citizen Attesa (titanium JDM-only radio solar quartz) for the ease of switching time zones when I travel.
Unfortunately it didn't come with any extra links for the bracelet and I can't find a replacement bracelet or links.
It needs 1 more link to really fit. I can wear it but it's a little too tight. Love the watch but I hardly wear it because of that.
Other than that my only regret is that I have like 10 watches and can only wear 1 at a time.

Sinn or CW is the answer

Sinn 556A RS.
I do wear my other watches but I grab the Sinn every morning by default.

I basically wear the others when I don't want to wear the Sinn
