This is just awful drop defense. No reason to be that far up at that distance from the basket. Ironically, Philly and Milwaukee are among the last 2 teams that use drop pnr coverage primarily given their slow lumbering centers.

It's a really good play design. No matter which way dame goes, Giannis can cut hard, and Lopez can pop. Dame has the triple option to shoot/drive, pass to a cutting Giannis, or kick to a popping wide open lopez. Other two bucks are ready at the corners. I love it.

This is a pretty good example of the chess match in basketball. Philly was applying pressure, so Bucks were setting screens high and getting good looks. Philly realized it and stopped picking him up so far as to not give momentum and speed to attack their bigs.

They beat the depleted 76ers by 1 point. It’s stoppable.
