Hey folks, I'm really new to this and realizing the more study the more am out of my league here. This is definitely not what went to school for ๐Ÿ˜…

I'm hoping to get 120-150mW out using this little circuit and 6*AA batteries. Do you think this is possible? Would you change/fix anything?

Any/all help is appreciated ๐Ÿ˜Š

Goal is 120-150mA, 1v out for 8 ohms

Looks a lot like a Nelson Pass Zen amp

I'm assuming due to its simplicity?

Looks like a Class A amp. Have you tried simulating it yet? CircuitJS should be able to handle this kind of circuit: https://www.falstad.com/circuit/circuitjs.html

Looks like you have a pot between the base and ground. Is that how you plan to control your current (gain)?
