The day after signing DeAaron is crazy

I've got a feeling we might be seeing Steph remain this much of an offensive weapon for another 4 - 5 years. His game has never been based on explosiveness, and with the right conditioning, the stamina that he relies on for separation doesn't really tail off until you're in your early 40s. Just look at all the pro marathorn runners still setting a blistering pace in their late 30s.

Nobody in GSW probably wants to hear this, but your best bet at another championship would probably have been offloading Green and Klay for draft capital at the beginning of last season or this season, and using that as part of a package that gives you another blue-chip top 20 player. The other pieces would've fallen into place.

Also, as much as I like him, it'd be cool if an opposing player hits the dagger in GSW and mimics the nighty-night celebration, with the camera panning to Steph right afterwards lol.

When you're guarding Steph, you don't leave him alone to double team another player. That's stupid. How did the Kings felt for that...

Imagine if the Warriors front office surrond Curry with consistent players and actual athletic big men instead of overpaid washed up old teammates that are streaky shooters and injury prone.

Doc is such a good commentator, so refreshing

How did Wiggins have the gravity of KD?

[–] VanishVapour@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That’s automatic

I absolutely hate GSW and Dray but Steph has always been one of my favorite players. He's unreal.

Is it me or do regular season games seem more competitive than before?

[–] igby1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Warriors drive instead of fly to Kings games right? So they get to sleep at home instead of a hotel.

I didn’t think Steph would still be mvp level at 35. Modem training and medicine man sheesh.

His 40th 3-pointer of the night.

[–] gregburgs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Great pass by Wigs there

[–] RC51t@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I want to hate him but he’s just such a likeable person lol. Plus , honestly, having one of the greatest shooters ever to play take us down , worse things have happened. Dude is scary good.

[–] cuatromurcielago@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

“Anybody but Steph.” Still rings true

[–] pineapplesmile99@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

His release seems quicker than ever

[–] youdoitimbusy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Both games were good last night. Zero complaints with performance.

[–] supersteve32@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Of course he does his stupid night night celebration. He can't just hit a clutch three and be humble about it.

[–] flipm0de2727@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I believe CP3 told Wiggs to go get the ball since it was an obvious mismatch with Domas on him. Domas gets cooked and help comes to prevent an easy dunk. Problem is they helped off the wrong guy lol
