I love how it looks like for a brief moment both players stop to look and complain to the ref and then just immediately play on lol
They tried to flop a little but the referee didn't care

Luka looks at the ref like "are you gonna call that a foul" and Ben looks at the ref like "there's no fuckin way you're calling that a foul, right?" as if he just expected Luka to get the call.
You really gotta give Ben credit to be back out there and giving it his all
The dude got more hate than maybe any nba player ever and that would be really hard to move forward but hopeful it can push him forward

We forget how solid of a prospect Ben was. If he had a cold mentality he could be a top 3 PG. He could bully smaller guards while locking down their best player. He’s 6’10 and stronger than some small forwards! Behind Luka and Steph, he could be as good as Dame or Ja imo. And his court vision? chefs kiss
Realistically tho, I doubt that’ll happen. Top 10 is more realistic and achievable
Sixers fans will get laughed at if this ever happens (even though we all believed harder and longer than anyone thought we should have), and I still have complicated and angry feelings toward Ben for his mentality - but when he showed his flashes, and he still does sometimes (which is so endlessly frustrating), he had (has?) genuinely limitless potential
LeBron post The Decision is the most hate an NBA player has gotten. Ben just got clowned. The level of vitriol for LeBron was absurd.
Lol "vitriol" is when it's a player you like and "clowned" is when it's a player you don't like and probably participated in mocking.

bro has a deeeep bag. it’s truly one of my favorite aspects of Luka. He enjoys cooking players up one on one. He really does seem to love embarrassing opponents🤣
As a side comparison, I actually think Kyrie has better one on one cookups being that he’s a bit quicker. But Luka is more versatile and reliable imo making him a more efficient point scorer.
Great offense beats great defense, a demonstration
I think I’m in the minority of Ben Simmons believers. I’m not saying back to where he was, but at least a good starter in the NBA.
Ben Simmons plays smothering defense on Luka Doncic, who commits a clear offensive foul and hits the triple anyway.

Can't defend that any better honestly, unless you are Christian Wood. But glad to see Simmons back. You can tell he is really digging in on defense in that video clip. Hopefully he continues to stay healthy.
