When you get a rebound over someone with 3.0 left, you, 1, don’t initially think of passing with that much time, and 2, he saw the close out and last year Batum shot 21% with defenders closing out on him, yeah nba.com has a table showing shooting stats for defenders at different ranges and with defenders 2-4 feet away that’s what he shoots, so let’s be real, 21% from 3 and that bullshit shot probably had the same percent chance of going in.
