Chill that’s enough” pat looking out for his boy 😂😂

It’s crazy to see in 2023 teams play so far off him. 10 years or so ago playing that far off is just asking him to score, not cuz he’d shoot a three, but because you’re giving him a runway to either dunk over you, pull up middy as you anticipate the drive, or he’d find an angle to get a crafty lay. Now it’s a highlight for him to do that 4 times in a row
Ah hell steph going for 50 next time they play okc
I’m not an athlete so I can’t really dispute his opinion, but I, and Westbrook, subscribe to the “no friends on the court” idea as a competitor
Yk all the technology the nba’s been introducing they need to come out with a pov camera. Forget mic’ing up players, strap a GoPro to their headband for a quarter, because the amount of “Batum was open when he got the rebound” is kinda crazy. When you get a rebound over someone with 3.0 left, you, 1, don’t initially think of passing with that much time, and 2, he saw the close out and last year Batum shot 21% with defenders closing out on him, yeah nba.com has a table showing shooting stats for defenders at different ranges and with defenders 2-4 feet away that’s what he shoots, so let’s be real, 21% from 3 and that bullshit shot probably had the same percent chance of going in.
And yes, I’m MITWestbrook’s protege if you’re wondering 😂
on paper this team isn’t the worst in the league, so if y’all do end up as one of the worst, eyes gotta go on the coach lowkey
51 points 4 rebounds no assists, blowout loss. That’s about the definition of empty stats. Bulls gotta move on from this team, Lonzo coming back isn’t saving this, and they’re gonna be middle of the pack like last year so tanking isn’t an option.
Along with medical advancements like other people said, I think playstyle also plays a factor. Curry, kd, kawhi, Dame, butler, and even lebron all have play styles that don’t put that much pressure on their bodies. Yeah they can and do still pull off dunks pretty frequently, but comparing this lebron to Miami lebron, he doesn’t play that same way now. Blake and drose are good examples, they changed their styles and tendencies to ease the load on the lower body, and even though they did decline, they’re still playing, and drose is actually really productive for his team
Nah Russ is my second favorite player of all time, but I’m confident I can name 25 players better than he is right now, though. 70+? I don’t think so
Top of the backboard too. It probably would have been an air ball if it was straight on
Dude has no shame 😂😂 laying on the floor like mike Tyson just decked you while your coach yells to get up knowing full well you’re faking it lmao
