the ref is bad. that is clear contact on maxey. pascal's face hit his shooting elbow
I thought they were giving technical fouls out for players flopping which is also faking. Maxey hooks a guy then elbows him in the face and tries to pretend he was fouled. I saw Dort get a tech for slipping game 1.

It drives me nuts that the NBA rewards offensive players who initiate the contact. You see it constantly in every single game. I get that fans want scoring and records being broken, but it prevents people from playing defence while also ruining the flow of the game
