Tebas licks lips

“That’s quite the valuation you have there. Shame if someone were to reevaluate it.”

Don’t they value Salah at like 70 mil

[–] ScrawChuck@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

How is Barca so low? They have a lot of good young players

[–] indistinctiveman@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Feels a bit surreal seeing us above teams like Juventus and Dortmund

[–] ReadsStuff@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Do you how mental it feels to see us on here? I'm still expecting to play fucking Carlisle away next week.

Wow, Vill in 12th, West Ham in 19th, and Brighton in 20th. Nttm Forest are in 24th?!

[–] SirBarkington@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

tbf Nottingham bought like two XIs worth of players and loaned in a few more. Hell when we loaned out Andre they didn't have any DMs and now they have like 3 ahead of him alone.

Yessir. 5th highest market value in the world, whilst not even playing international footy.

[–] BigReeceJames@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

It's largely because of the size of our squad. If you're looking at player average value we're 8th, which is still insane given where we are, but most players we own are young and have just had a big transfer, so that's going to be reflected in Transfermarkt's valuations even if they weren't worth it

[–] ima_be_the_greatest@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yea I know you guys have a very large squad. Also the bias that transfermarkt has towards young (understandable) English players (not sure understandable) playing in the English premier league (understandable) is absolutely insane

Most nfl teams are more valuable than Manchester city. One day people will accept American football is the real "greatest game"

[–] Argo_Menace@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Year is 2099 and trasfermarkt still isn’t banned as a source.

I was quite surprised to see Arsenal at second, didn't realize they had so many players with high market values.

I mean transfermarkt is literally completely meaningless when it comes to valuing a player. It's based on comments people post on their forums.

Here's some examples of the standard of those voting on Mason Mount.

Performance-wise this value is not justified. He is young und has had a good credit in the past but the recent struggles justify a lower value.

Sorry Mason you did th wrong choice of team

very useless since 2021

These are your experts.

bruh, that's not true

[–] furiousmadgeorge@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Where could I find the full list?

[–] RipcityRobert@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Why so low? Soccer has such a much bigger audience but American football teams are worth 5-9 times more than the most valuable soccer team?

[–] ReadsStuff@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Number of teams. The entire wealth of that sport is concentrated into 32 teams, whereas there's over 100 professional clubs in England alone.

[–] Faker_the_Demon_King@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Chelsea above Munich LOL

[–] TheWawa_24@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

real Sociedad is the big surprise for me

[–] bbaakk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bundesliga clubs are not on the market, they will never be bought or sold

[–] mohans41@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Market values based on Transfermarkt.com. Yawn.
