Check out the Seiko SSC813!
Speed timer. I have one. Great watch. Get the panda
Bulova marine star or citizen eco drive
Seiko SKX007J1 or a Hamilton Khaki
My vote is something gold or something with a leather strap. Maybe a Tsuyosa, Seiko tank, Bulova Frank Sinatra, or PRX. Gold would be my #1 choice as this is a nice accomplishment. Congrats on graduating.
Tissot gentleman
I got a Tissot Visodate. Might be a bit higher than your price point but it’s really dressy and nice. I had a similar collection to you before btw.
Keeping the Japanese theme - Citizen Tsuyosa, Seiko Speedtimer Solar or Seiko 5 Sports GMT. Probably Tsuyosa as something a bit more 'special' rather than 'tool watch'.
What is that casio on the right?
Wad159. Really beautiful watch in person
A swiss definitely. A tissot or Hamilton could work (specially because you can get them new with a discount).
I’d not, a another Seiko, maybe a more field watch style
Baltic
JDM Seiko Spirit SBTR021
Or get a whole collection...
Seiko Panda chronograph
Lorier is a great microbrand that just released a nice GMT
I'm confused... the Gentleman is an amazing watch but why are people suggesting it if it's closer to a 1k than 500,which is his budget?
I'm also assuming that for graduation he would like a new watch.
Btw it's an often suggested watch but just about the 500 range and also being a little different than the stuff you have, there's always the Bulova Lunar pilot
vintage, anything classic
nothing hold and buy a better one to collect or its just for casual wear?
I've been eyeing some Nodus watches lately, specifically the sector GMT. Its in the price range, 525 with a bracelet, less with a strap. Has sapphire crystal, and a regulated Seiko movement. I really like the look and supposedly the brand typically has excellent finishing for the price
Grey market Hamilton!
I suggest you to look on the seiko official site, I love the samurai "save the oceans" edition and it is about 550€ or you can buy the lorier neptune IV that is 499$
I'll give you the Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S-7AJF. I own one, and it's one of my most worn watches.
The Oceanus line is Casio's premium watches line and JDM-only (Japanese Domestic Market - the watch is imported from Japan). Official Casio product page (Japanese-language only). It's a solar-charged quartz watch (powered by light), and has atomic clock radio time signal sync, which means it's always 100% accurate.
Build quality and finishing are superb. It's a set-and-forget watch that looks great and is very versatile.

Cool collection. You should look into getting a Baltic MR01 next. Such a fantastic watch for the price point.
Get a cool vintage, or a pre-worn Sinn. Don't buy new so early in your collection; figure out what you like first.
I think it's time to go beyond japan. They are great watches, but you need something swiss. Hamilton may be. Got mine a year ago
Speedtimer 😎
