If Kirk was the QB for the Rams instead of Stafford do the Rams still win the SB?

Another question, Rams had to trade Goff and two 1st round picks. Would Kirk have cost the same or less?

One distinguishing factor about these two is that Stafford is more than willing to take the risk on every throw while Kirk plays it safer. During that run there were some throws that Stafford made that Kirk would’ve passed on. Like the deep shot to kupp to win the bucs game, was a “I’m not supposed to go here with the ball but that’s my guy out there so fuck it” type of decision. Remember Kirk checked the ball down to his TE behind the sticks on 4th down rather than throw it up to his guy in coverage

4th and the Season he checked down short of the sticks. Kirk had a night on Monday and give him his flowers but handing him hypothetical super bowl rings is a bridge too far.

With the team they had post trade deadline? Without a doubt

Fuck no. Stafford is more….human. I like Kirk a lot but I just can’t see the “Jesus is King” attitude and no cursing thing working with this team that year

IMO, no. That Rams team was really good but Stafford is better than Kirk in big moments. Kirk threw a check down pass with the season on the line in last years playoffs and got out played by Daniel Jones. Stafford meanwhile threw a clutch bomb vs TB and had a very solid game winning drive in that SB in those 2021 playoffs. I personally don’t think Kirk can do that. He’s just not clutch (not to say that stafford is clutch, but he’s better in crunch time than Kirk).

I don't think Kirk throws that ball at the end of the Buccs' game, but maybe I'm wrong

Also, I don't know thayt Kirk makes something happen like Stafford did in the 4th quarter of the SB. On a perfectly covered play, Stafford manipulated a defender with his eyes and threw a no-look pass on the game winning drive. I don't know that Kirk comes through there.

Kirk does not make any of the big throws Stafford had to in order to win the game for his team. I think Kirk is a very good QB but he’s not the guy for what the Rams needed and got out of a guy like Stafford

I have a question, if you swap mahomes for Herbert starting from 2017 but everything else is the same, do the Chiefs make a super bowl? I think they do

[–] Malady17@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Herbert loses to the Texans in 2019

[–] H1mHalpert@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

I'll give you that one

[–] HermDog04@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Lmao nah. The Social Media QB would’ve choked the Super Bowl last year and we wouldn’t have even got there in 2019 because there’s no way he would’ve came back from 24-0 vs Houston.

[–] H1mHalpert@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

If he choked the super bowl that means he would have gotten to the super bowl right? So we agree lol

[–] Joementum2004@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Nope. There’s no way Cousins would be able to get that game-winning drive against Tampa.

50%.

Either it happens, or it doesn’t.

The better question is, swap Ron Torbert with any capable referee — do the Rams still win?

You asked a yes or no question and want us to answer with True or False…this why special accreditation should be required to post to Reddit.

it's like when Jimmy Johnson left the Cowboys and they won a SB with that old Oklahoma (?) coach. It was gonna happen no matter who was there.
