You can pick IG accounts with 6 figure followers and a reach of like 54m over the last 3 months for under $100. Surely you can cold email brands to use it for marketing purposes and make more than that?

There’s no way they’re that cheap unless they bought fake followers.

If the accounts are in fact legit then yes it can be worth it. It’s just another marketing asset to use. Keep growing the account and occasionally plug your business.

This isn’t really entrepreneurship and is more just scamming businesses. You’re hoping to convince brands to pay you to post their content for an audience of bot followers who can’t buy their product. It’s the very definition of false pretenses.

Where are you buying from?

Once you post anything on there you’ll see it gets 10 likes. Any any brand will want to see your engagement on recent posts so you won’t get that far

There's a reason why they sell so cheap because its mostly bots and those followers aren't relevant to your product in the first place.

For reference I have 130k followers and I charge the equivalent of $235 for an ad and do about 3 per month.

Nobody with a proper account would sell for $100. There are a lot of ‘promotion’ accounts that dm me that have like 200k followers and 100k+ views on all their reels.. but then you look and they get 6 likes per post and all of their followers are bots. Seems like it’s one of these accounts

Those 6-figure followers might be mostly bots or unengaged users. It's a gamble, and you might not win big.

It is ALWAYS a bad idea. Don’t even think about it

Most IG’s with 6 figures go for 1000$ and up

If the account has 100k bots following it and the bots will keep liking all the posts, the value is above 100$.

However, most probably it is a scam and either the stats are faked, either you will not receive the account, either it will be reported as hacked, whatever other scam you might think of.

Best case scenario, the bot network is real and the account really got those likes and followers and after you buy it the bot network is moving on to the next account and you are left with an account with 10 followers.

I bought an IG profile with 228k followers for 200$. The profile has low engagement but I knew that before I bought it. Now I'm building a portfolio using that profile but I need to buy likes, views, and comments. Does anyone know a good website for that?

The only time i bought followers was when the swipe up link were introduced at 10k and i had like 8,500 followers. I bought 2k followers to have the feature and let me tell you everything was fine up until ig started cracking down on bot followers. My account eventually came back down to 9k and engagement is nonexistent. I used to get 300-1000 views on my stories before and even during the bought followers but now if i get 30 views is a good day.

If that can happen with my account imagine with a bought account that they can see IP location changing and 99% of the time are fake followers

The first thing any advertiser would want to know is who is the audience. Can you answer that with any degree of confidence?

[–] _kapbhtt@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Short answer - yes!

Long answer - you'll have less reach, less engagement so it's a bad idea.

Tell me where you’re finding 100k+ follower accounts for ~$100
