six points on -29 is holy sht bad. a player his caliber has not business sucking this much. that's not an overreaction at all, just fax. doesn't mean the trade fails, but if Dame can't score - and he sure as hell can't defend - Giannis and Lopez may start missing Jrue...

He can only play well when he has the ball and shoots off the dribble. That is why when he asked for a trade Portland brass were like fuck yeah. He can't play any style but his own and his own style sucks. When he tries to play proper basketball that should win more games he has games like this. Portland has to give up on running the offense Chauncey wanted because Dame literally can't do it without stinking.

not to be a glazer but this puts lebron's 10 pt streak into perspective. Damian lillard is one of the best scorers of our generation and this shit happens sometimes.

See…. THAT is one of the reasons I’m kinda glad Dame didn’t land in Miami. Miami already gets shit on on a daily basis. Dame was already about to be the most hated player in the league before anything was confirmed. Such a performance with the Heat and people on here would have feasted. At least with Milwaukee, he might get slandered postgame but people will move on after that.

Am I the only person who lives in the timeline where Dame got swept by the Warriors without KD? Losing games where he was outscored by CJ AND Meyers Leonard?

Not saying this game represents Dame’s career but I’ve never understood the hype. My take on Dame is props to CJ for shouldering 100% of the blame for every loss they ever had.

Has anyone actually looked at the box score. Atlanta had 8 players score between 12-20 points . That is impressive , and also shows very little defense was being played.

When I saw this final score, I figured Trae Young had finally broken out of his slump. Nope, still only shot 36%.

EDIT: I guess that is considered breaking a slump considering he was at about 20% FG for the season…
