Nasty, but wasnt that a travel? He jumps to the side with both feet, adjusts right foot for a pumpfake then moves left foot back and before jumping for the shot he adjusts right foot again jumping on both feet together for the shot. How many steps can you take without dribbling in the nba? Does it increase the more popular you are?
Picks up the dribble as he is 1-2 stepping into his stance. Now he adjusts his right foot for the pump fake, so his left would be his pivot. He can do whatever he wants with the right as long as he doesn’t move the left. So he Moves the right foot back into his stance and shoots. Looks fine to me, there are a lot more egregious non calls on travels all the time.
I e watched this so many times. Brooks’ final block attempt after the ball is out is killing me. The shot was so pure. Watching in slo mo is hilarious.
