This article says the deck struggles to run baldur’s gate 3, but it runs fine for me other than eating through the battery (to be expected) so I’m a little doubtful that Alan Wake doesn’t work that well

What's your logic here?

So you disagree that Baldur's Gate 3 has performance issues, and that means that this game doesn't?

The article says that 24 frames per second is what you can expect. I would say by most standards that's pretty low performance.
