Astro A40 vs H3 Hybrid (alien.top)

I just got the H3 Hybrid as my Astros are getting older and more worn down. From everything I’ve looked at online the Hybrids should have better sound quality, and are praised for it for the most part. However, no matter what I do, and even with surround sound and EQ, I still feel as if they sound hollow while my Astros sound so much fuller and better in comparison. Am I going insane or are the Astros just better?

Let this be the day you realize more price and newer doesn't necessarily mean better. What matters is your own preference.
