I am a web designer that is decent at local marketing. I have some money saved up and want to invest it in starting up a small business that I can just manage the business, doing the admin work, marketing and sales, and then pay employees or 1099 workers to do the work. Looking for low as low of an initial investment as possible.

I was thinking something like a residential cleaning business or maybe pressure washing. Any other ideas? Looking for stuff where there is little chance of the worker causing damage I would be liable for.

Hey, why not tap into the tutoring or online course business? Your web skills can make a dope platform. Get experts to create the content, and you handle the tech side!

Considering your expertise in web design and local marketing, you might want to delve into the world of digital content creation, perhaps running a blog network. Hire content writers, while you manage and market it. Over time, it can be highly automated with subscription models or ad revenues.

Landscaping or lawn care might be up your alley. Low overheads and manageable risk.

Dude I’m literally trying to get off the physical realm the Digital Realm. You will never ever ever find a physical store that can be completely automated; human error will always be present. I advise you look into using your knowledge to help local businesses instead of starting a new one.

Hi! What about helping local businesses create better offers / sales funnels? I feel like local companies are missing out on a lot of business, simply by not focussing on their value in the local market.

It might take a short amount of time to teach these things to employees, though in the beginning it might be convenient to work out SOP's anyway.

Can I ask why you're looking for an additional venture, instead of expanding your current business? Seems counterproductive in many ways, but that depends on your goals ofc.
