He's also had 11 steals and 4 blocks over these games. From his statements since the season started KCP clearly wants to prove he is a 1st team All-Defense level talent, and his start of the season has certainly been at that level. Enormous defensive impact, both on locking up his individual matchup and at anchoring a lot of Denver's team defense.

Not fair. This season won't be as much fun if the Nuggets have actually improved.

I thought that Bruce Brown was so controlled and reliable that they would take a hit without him. As always, I was wrong.

It's only been 4 games. That said, I held my tongue in the off-season because I knew this team is still young. That's not a guarantee of improvement, obviously, but the chance that they would grow naturally was really overlooked. Most just kind of assumed that since they won the title, that was their ceiling.

As an example, MPJ has SO much room to grow.
