Good job, that is very common for new businesses, just make sure to not get too cocky on the high, rather spend just as much resources and time keeping it as you did trying to get it

Dang… was just listening to When it Rains it Pours. by my favorite band Twiddle! Give it a listen and keep looking up
You know what, I can totally relate to that feeling. Being an entrepreneur can often be a roller coaster ride, and it feels like when one thing goes wrong, everything seems to follow suit. It's like there's this invisible force that either pushes you upwards or plunges you downwards. When I started my own business, it was incredibly tough. I faced countless rejections and it felt like I was just shouting into the void. But then, just like you, I landed my first client and everything changed. Suddenly, doors started opening, conversations flowed more easily, and opportunities seemed to pour in. It's like a wave of positivity that propels me forward. I can't guarantee that every potential client will sign on, but this change in momentum is undeniably encouraging. So yes, I definitely feel similar to you. It's like when it rains, it pours, and I'm riding this wave with hope and determination to turn my passion into a successful venture.
More bad = good stuff is close
Online Businesses are hard. What you are dealing with is the way it is. You can start building from that one client. Just do an amazing job and ask for referrals and be sure to get a video testimonial.
Congrats. Hope you sign them.
Always. I say this all the time. Chaos just piles in from all angles at once.
I guess all that practice of reaching out to people improved those skills and now it's showing. Also, it's often easy to notice when someone is desperate for a client or not. So maybe they noticed that.
But you did the work and are now reaping the rewards.
Yes, and the longer you do it the more obvious the pattern becomes.
Good for you - that's great news! This is something we all feel. And I'm going through it at this very moment. I've been reaching out to successful solopreneurs, founders, entrepreneurs and marketing & branding experts to interview for my newsletter to inspire and enlighten my community. But it's crickets. I have no choice but to continue and hope for the best.
I totally understand you here. Exactly how I felt like when I started my own business. It's true that when it rains, it pours. But it's also true that there is always a rainbow after the rain. There was this article that mentioned entrepreneurs who failed before success. Hope it motivates you. https://www.cuppa.so/post/famous-entrepreneurs-who-failed-before-success
Love this!!
