Hes not giving Wemby chances to post up or involving him in pnr actions. Wemby is just there rn playing within the flow of the offense, but the spurs arent talented enough offensively to play within the flow of the offense. Also why tf is Sochan the pg, brilliant player but he cant shoot or run the pnr, hes like an aggressive ben simmons lol.

IDK why Pop is stifling a generational talent.

Yeah they should probably fire pop for his transgressions. Actually, because the warriors are so kind I’d bet they’d trade a 2035 second rounder to have pop come and be an assistant coach

The man has coached for 25+ years as a HC and has 5 rings.

I'm just amused at some reddit rando criticizing Pop misusing a player.

The things you cite as the ways to involve him are things he’s not good at rn. He’s not a dynamic post presence and he’s low key been a bad screener so far. I assume those things will improve, but I think Pop knows what he’s doing bro

Sochan at PG is so damn painful to watch

I’d def want my generational talent to stop what he’s done his entire career and start posting up and banging with players who outweigh him and are much stronger.

I don't understand the issue here. Wemby isn't Shaq who can dominate through sheer physicality.
