Hi there, I'm building Slashprompt

Currently its a simple AI tools curation website and newsletter, trying to filter the insane amount of tools getting available to show only the good stuff. Only a few added each week.

Ultimately the goal is to be an entry point for newcomers who wish to discover more about AI without having to spend hours searching. Soon to come, public free quality prompts list, interactive tutorials and who knows what else.

Mostly building it for relaxing on the evening. Might not be interesting for people already in the topic every day.

I have spent the last 10-15 mins on your website and here's my tea

  1. For godsake don't build another platform promoting the same old tools(which are almost paid) and are almost known by many(like Grammarly, Writesonic etc)

  2. The highlights and low lights section can be better. Either give more indepth insights or completely remove them and put some basic description so one can get more clear idea before visiting the website

If u search "Top N AI tools" on Google what other blogs are promoting even if u list the same, that's not gonna give Slashprompt a USP

Do indepth research, and help your audience discover the unknown tools that are worth to be known

  1. totally. At the end of the day it will play a small role on the website. planning to add a search that will guides users towards what they need instead of a raw list.

  2. surely. it's in progress. For now was a simple start to set things up, content will follow step by step.

thanks for feedback !

I'm taking a similar approach here. There are other directories that add almost anything to the list. I wonder how many of them are actually worth it, as we all know, many startups fail, with around 90% of them not succeeding.

I think it's a great idea to have more tool aggregators like yours, which aim to shine a light on lesser-known AI tools. I've seen something similar done on Uneed.best where I submitted my new AI-powered tool recently.
Are you planning to add a submission form or something like that?

How can I add a tool like https://discusswithai.com to your list?

I am always looking for new AI tools - what would REALLY help is is if you woulf actually review them step by step and rank them.

Instead of focusing on quantity, focus on quality- for example review top10 AI apps for ad creatives.

Review and take every little detail into account. Niche is key here.

My god.. all anyone is doing these days is AI. I'd love to see an original idea without AI for a change.

We are just at the cusp of using AI and most of it is based around llm's. Most of these projects people are regurgitating can be accomplished just by learning how to use chatGPT.

Good luck man, but I honestly don't know how youre even going to cut through all the other stuff out there.
