I dunno guys, just watching the clipper games feels like watching 2000s basketball.

Their stat line and the way they pass the rock. Just feels that they are fundamentally a strong contender. It might change after Harden arrives but still, they don't have any crazy triple doubles or something.

Just a couple of guys playing Ball.

They're the opposite of an old school team.

Exactly. They don't really have a traditional center or power forward lol. The team is primarily two way wings or smaller scoring guards.

They always play elite 2 way ball when fully healthy.

The problem is they are never fully healthy

Clipper games may have a nostalgic feel, but that doesn't automatically make them strong contenders. Harden's arrival could change things, and crazy triple doubles aren't necessary to be successful. It's just a matter of how they perform as a team.
