I think the Breitling is a great choice, that’s a good looking watch. I prefer it over a Longines or Tudor. I used to have a chronomat chrono and got a lot of compliments; it worked well on leather too.

Unless your wrist is huge, you could probably go for the 36mm Chronomat right? Save some money and no GMT. Aquaterra is the obvious alternative though, I would try on both and maybe a Black Bay and see how it fits. Bracelet on this Breitling is awesome.
There are a lot of great recommendations here but I’m going to throw in a vote supporting the Chronomat. Like you, I don’t care much for the GMT complication (especially this one being a caller) but they don’t make a three hander. I’ve handled a green one in the metal and though the case is very flat, that’s the only way I can hope to criticize it. The polished bezel and bullet bracelet are so freaking lovely and give it near perfect wrist presence IMO. Plus you won’t bump into many other people with one unlike the obvious Tudors and Aquaterras which are more common by comparison (but for good reason).
Tudor Black Bay GMT
I have this chronomat in Green and it's an awesome watch. It get more wrist time than my Tudor or Grand Seiko. Super comfortable, useful functional and looks good with a couple of scratches.
Mainly it's just fantastic dimensions, super legible too.
Ever since I realised the chronomat 40 GMT exists about 1 month ago I've been genuinely considering it as a next watch.
Have a Tudor BB58 and a datejust 36 already. The Breitling looks cool, a step in a slightly different direction perhaps
Longines Zulu Time is a great looking true GADA. Congratulations on a big year!
