Kyle's testical knees and Gerald the dolphin-man legitimately disturb me. That whole episode was just generally nightmare fuel and genuinely shocking. I can't rewatch that episode
I was also surprised when Cartman actually shot Token, but that was a much milder and more amusing surprise
South Park is my favorite show. I’ve never been offended by it personally. But the ONLY episode where I thought they went a smidge too far was s8e2 “Up the Down Steroid”, when Cartman pretended to be mentally disabled to cheat his way into the Special Olympics. Not only is the premise pretty bad, but his constant “DERRRR DERRRR” during half the episode was kinda hard to watch. I still liked the episode overall, but I was surprised that one didn’t get more controversy.

I didn’t really like dolphin Gerald and NBA Kyle, but the first time I was really disturbed was Humancentipad. However, I rewatched the episode recently (yeah I know, probably a masochistic trait of me coming out), and it wasn’t so bad. Probably because I already knew what was going to happen.

The season 22 cold open Dead Kids. After a couple questionable seasons, Trey and Matt came out swinging with the school shootings, and launched into a season that held absolutely nothing back. Was I personally offended? No. But the entire season felt like then begging people to try to cancel them.
