I'm honestly fairly hopeful as a Clippers fan. I wouldn't trust my feeling tho, as I will be hopeful regardless, but I see a lot to like this season already without Harden. And honestly this isn't in panic to the loss that just happened, that was a good game and there were a lot of mitigating circumstances there to really make a judgement call. Not to mention working PJ tucker in and also missing one James Harden who will do...something good I hope.

But the Clippers really didn't have an answer when the Lakers went huge. and I mean literally, they just had to take it in the third after the lakers were in the bonus.

Batum and Covington will be missed big time, you guys didn't need Harden. You guys need to get Robert Williams somehow.

Think bob myers had a good point that his playmaking/ball handling will help a lot. If they could have harden or williams, you take harden, especially considering they have injury problems and harden would do a much better job stepping into a bigger role when they go down as opposed to williams (who also has injury problems)

Yep. Not to mention, trying to get a serviceable enough small ball center for 15-20MPG is much, much easier than getting a guy like Harden.

If and when it becomes clear that a guy like Norm is redundant, wouldn’t mind seeing what we can get for him even if they’re not as good of an overall player. I really wanted John Collins on this squad, but a player like him would be perfect.

Lakers fan here. I seen it also. Yall always had that length against us. I would be concerned also. You traded all your length and front court away.

The literal only impactful player from last year that we lost was Nico. It’s a noticeable loss, but he’s not completely irreplaceable.

I don’t know what other team in the league is going to play 3 centers at once lmao

This. People are mad overreacting right now. Y’all had a great game and your triple towers scares me, but I’d like to see what we can do with Harden and Mann first before we decry the Clippers are screwed because Zubac struggled against the best defensive big in the NBA lmao

Harden will be a very good answer. They can use harden to keep running pick and roll on the bigs. Clippers always lack this kind of pg and that's why I think clippers acquiring harden is a very needed move .

PJ Tucker was actually +5 as a small ball C as opposed to a PF. I don’t think he’s the answer, but at the very least we gotta try to use him right.

They need to trade Norman Powell or Bones Hyland for a good wing that can play defense.

Powell/Bones for Rui/Boucher.

I hope Rui realizes he’s gonna be a minimum part of the lakers rotation now. Wood is just too good. Gotta demand a trade to a team that will play him.

Gotta trade for Rob Williams. Harden-Rob PnR will feed families
