I dont see him navigating screens, I dont see him rotate as well as other good defenders, I dont see him make good decisions in terms of helping or doubling, he just does the bare basics. His man to man defense is fine, hes not putting clamps but he aint getting cooked, but this dude perfectly average on D.

He isnt no 2 way star.

I agree him not being a 2-way star but i don’t think its just about being athletic and tall. He was quite good at on ball defense when he came onto the league and i think people just assume thats gonna stick and off ball part will come along as he matured.

But then off ball part didn’t come along and as his offensive responsibilities increased he regressed on ball part too.
