100% Minkah Fitzpatrick after he took out chubbs knee. He knew he fucked up and tried to play it off like he hurt his head then came right back in the game a couple plays later. Watch the replay.

So they fine players for wearing the wrong socks, but they rescind fines for faking concussions? Dafuq?

I have made up my mind on it being Watson, what about you guys?

This guy must have learned how to fail the concussion protocol if its even true. Also makes me think this might have been a fringe player to even acuse him of doing this to the point of even fining him.

Probably Jimmy G against the Broncos when he grabbed his head after sliding and a bronco flew over him and barely made contact

NFL: We think Player is faking being concussed. Fine incoming.

Tretter: No he’s just kinda… like that.

(Appeal is won).

Tretter: Told ya.

Thad Castle with concussion: Let me play coach. It’s not like I can get any dumber. 🥺

Moran: Coach, he has got a point.

Coach: 🤦‍♂️

Reminds me of the time a teammate knocked his head playing basketball. Trainer came out and asked him to start saying the alphabet backwards.

"... I can't do that normally."

"Ok he's good."

[–] Lysol20@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Ahhh. I'm hurt bad I'm seeing stars I'm seeing stars counting stars.

Trainer: Sir, someone lightly stepped on your foot.

Could it be Desmond Ridder being "evaluated for a concussion" when Heinecke came in? Perhaps Arthur Smith's stupid comments post-game caused the NFL to look into it?

[–] gavincantdraw@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That evaluation was during half time, and then he didn't play the rest of the game, so I don't think that would be him.

[–] Beef_Jones@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Not to mention why would Desmond Ridder fake a concussion to give the Falcons cover to replace him?

I don’t understand it. How can people not wrap their heads around the NFL? They make BILLIONS in profit for putting a product (players) on a field that make pennies. They invest little to nothing in player safety and when they strike the owners bring scabs. Players like Mahomes or Bosa or Hurts care less about a 50k fine but players on league minimum do(most are or are close). Why isn’t player safety more important than fines? Even the smallest concussion should be enough, played D-1 ball and know I’ll have CTE forever and never allow my kids to play football outside of flag football. It’s crazy, players make the money and get little to nothing when compared to the team/organization. Absurd.

“We think someone faked a concussion what should we do?”

“Nothing.”

Rolls credits.

Minkah after he intentionally dove at Chubbs knee to make it seem like it wasn’t intentional.

[–] PuppyKicker82@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

thats really going to hurt the massage business in the cleveland area

[–] Ayrlyn@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

The only time I could see a fine for faking an injury being justified/holding up on appeal is when players sit down on the field and pretend to be hurt to give their coach extra time to throw a challenge flag, and then come right back into the game.

The team’s medical staff told him to go down on the field? What on earth? Am I reading that right?

Maybe the fine was rescinded because he just did what the team’s medical staff told him to do?

[–] Rad1314@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Just seems super dangerous to try and guess if someone is faking a concussion or not.

The amazing thing in this thread is literally no one read the article and are just throwing names out that literally cannot be the individual described in the article.

Purdy? Idk much about his whole situation it just kind of came out of nowhere

His symptoms were reported on the plane, and he didn't report them himself.

So no.
