Fitzmagic was an awesome guest, they had a great balance of discussing the play with expert insight but also throwing in humor

[–] Techun2@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

How do I watch if I wanted to? I have YouTube tv...

[–] atchman25@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I tried putting it on once but it just felt like they were talking over the game instead of about it. Maybe I would be more interested if it wasn’t a team I was interested in watching

[–] Rad1314@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Is it cause people are getting tired of whatever bullshit the celebrity is pushing instead of football being talked about? I know I am. I'm also pretty sure that Peyton Manning is eager for them to shut up so he can talk about blitz pickup.

[–] saladblah22@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Loved it the first year because the main broadcast stunk. Buck and Aikman are great so I haven’t watched since

[–] moldymaybe69@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No more guests. Literally 0

[–] BlueberrySvedka@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Completely misreading why your show is unique and fun is just classic. No one wants to hear a celebrity interview when Eli and Peyton could be talking about the game itself

[–] Competitive_Papaya_8@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If it was just the 2 of them then I'd be more inclined to watch. All the guests are what ruin it for me.

[–] Alexcox95@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’d watch it if I wasn’t working every Monday they’re on and I’m off when they aren’t on

[–] Maleficent-Thanks-85@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I stopped watching it when they brought in Aikman and Buck. It was much more appealing when it was booger and who ever else was in the booth. Once they brought in the professionals I never turned on the manningcast again.

[–] The_Donny_Lebowski@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I wish NBC had the rights to the Manningcast so I didn't have to listen to two known perverts (Google it) in Tirico and Collinsworth.

[–] hidey_ho_nedflanders@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

No surprise, because every quarter there's a guest on promoting whatever they have going on in their life. I don't even think Peyton cares for the guests either as he's more concerned on the game.

[–] Dangerous_Ice17@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I watched them a few weeks ago and they were so lifeless and had zero energy. It sucked.

[–] LeadSledPoodle@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The match ups have been okay-to-bad for ManningCasts so far. I'm not going to watch the Bills beat up on the Broncos next week, and I live in Denver.

[–] Present-Response6752@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Arnold was miserable lmao, just keep getting coaches or players, or former coaches or players

[–] RadWalk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I tuned in for a bit, they missed a play to show Eli playing middle school basketball or something. Switched back.

[–] NuggedClarp@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The guests just have a weird chemistry. There’s always somebody talking over somebody. Some silent moments. Just have Peyton and Eli and it’d be way better. Ideally they’d be in the same room too

[–] Lvl99Cheerio@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Guests suck. CHANGE IT, ESPN

[–] Internecine-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Also doesn’t help that you’ve had some really shitty teams/matchups on MNF

I mean the Giants were there and we only put up 3 points that Monday night, who the hell wants to watch that

[–] IPA_____Fanatic@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Not interested in the guests, any of them. I want to see the brothers just comment on the game together, get frustrated together, laugh, etc. The guests distract way too much.

[–] Charmstrongest@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Probably because it’s an unwatchable bore

[–] IH8DwnvoteComplainrs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I guess this is a surprise to absolutely nobody but ESPN? They fucked this project up so bad.

[–] Scruffy442@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Maybe they should have left it on ESPN+ instead of moving it to ESPN 2. If I'm going to have to put on an eye patch to watch the game, I'll just watch the main broadcast.

[–] ATLfinra@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah I’ve forgotten about it and stopped watching myself and I was all in year 1 and part of last season

[–] Venator850@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I've always just watched the main broadcast. Game feels secondary on the Manning cast.

[–] judrt@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

quit with the guests and have them at a few games or in a studio a couple times a year and it would explode

[–] jimmydean885@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

the guests are unwatchable

[–] Ok-Imagination-2308@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Peyton and Eli have the most boring personalities ever

[–] Zolo49@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It worked great that first year because it was something fresh and new and the team they had doing the main broadcast on ESPN sucked. But when they got Buck and Aikman last year, who were FAR better, there really wasn't as much reason to switch to the Manningcast.

And I have to agree that some of their guests have really dragged it down. It's fine when they've got somebody who's knowledgeable about football and can add to the conversation about the game, but when they just have some random celebrity who's just there to plug their latest project, it's just awful.

[–] d_gorder@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The only people that should be allowed as guests are former players. Anything else is a distraction

[–] Double-Passenger4503@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Stop doing guests

[–] adlopez@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yeah, no shit. These two dudes talking at the same time is insufferable.

[–] Smackolol@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’m gonna say it, I dislike the manning cast.

[–] opinionofone1984@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I love the Manning Cast,

[–] ZombieAppetizer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I watch, but that's because I can't stand Joe Buck or Troy Aikman.

[–] The_Human_One@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I tried to watch this stupidity. WTF?! Seriously bruh. They're not entertaining and watching two people just cheer and sit quietly at times etc is do lame. LAME!

[–] JoeyBougie@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Maybe he because 90% of the guest suck and it was fun when they just talk manning football

[–] Swagsuke_Nakamura@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I’ve only watched it a couple of times but I liked it when it was just those two watching and talking about it. Stop having guests

[–] RonnieLottOmnislash@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I want to hear them talk about football. They have all these guests on not talking about football....

[–] Chessh2036@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

ManningCast should have two guest, MAX. One for each half of football.

[–] 77rozay@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This show is intended for football fans. Football fans want to see the manning bros talk about the game, not random celebs talking random things. There’s already so many podcasts for that.

[–] Annual-Sympathy-4934@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

IM sure it has nothing to do with the state of the primetime games in the NFL this year. I love the manningcast, especially over aikmans weird commentary this year, but ther was basically only two good games all year...,

[–] mattyhegs826@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I think the initial magic of it has worn off. It felt too much like a tv show instead of a game. I prefer the traditional broadcast. (Even though Troy aikman fucking sucks)

[–] JG8AB9TL11OBJ12AD13@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Imo, it should be only a guest in the third quarter, and depending on the guest (for example Russell Wilson I believe was amazing or Tom Brady) let them stay the rest of the game

[–] halfcuprockandrye@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I like when the Mannings talk about the game. The guests can be good but other times they're distracting when I'm already with friends drinking and talking shit and trying to watch the game as much as possible. I think it is a cool way to switch it up but I don't need to watch it weekly.

[–] Splinter_Amoeba@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bill Burr would be a good permanent addition. Dude loves sports and can make anything funny. Add him, ditch the guests, and just show 3 dudes reacting to a football game.

[–] Unimmortal47@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Guests distract and are a little annoying to try and get through at times. It’s not a talk show so stop treating it like one.

[–] OvertimeWr@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The audio is terrible. Not just for the guests but the Manning bros too.

[–] fucuntwat@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Stop doing guests. Just Manning + Manning breaking down the game. Don't force an interview in where it isn't needed
