Coach🧢 migrating to r/watches

[–] WeHave200Couches@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

What watch is in this thumbnail?

[–] Dose_of_Reality@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Posting a YouTube confession sure doesn’t hurt the FBI’s case.

[–] Ok-Significance-9243@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

The most hilarious thing is he admitted in detail to all the crimes on YouTube. Just another scammer preying on ppl who get greedy

[–] RainingRazors@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago
[–] H6RR6RSH6W@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

This pathetic trash won’t wear a watch again for 20 years

[–] e1950@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Do you get a gold watch after working for the “state” for 20 years?

[–] Pussy_Prince@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

The original break free bracelets by Jacob & Co

[–] truhue@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

TP🧻Gentleman finally got busted

[–] Osobady@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

He’s already been to prison and he has no problem jerking guys off. He will thrive in jail.

[–] vgcamara@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Tugger Tony is going to have a fun time in jail, AGAIN

I wonder what Adrian thinks of this "genius marketing strategy" now

[–] Sasquatchii@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Was Adrian pro timepiece gent? I don’t remember that

Now will all the other watch youtubers who sucked this guy off finally apologise?

[–] Hockeyfan_52@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Will Roman Sharf make a video?

[–] MenosDaBear@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I used to watch the gray market channel and it was fairly enjoyable. Out of curiosity are you thinking he is going to make a video about this for the views, or are you saying Roman is doing similar shady stuff? I’m not insinuating anything, just curious cause I haven’t watched that channel in a while.

[–] Hockeyfan_52@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Every time something happens with this time piece gentlemen guy he makes a video and deleteds it a few hours later. And every time he says it's the last time he is going to talk about it.

[–] WallabyWhere@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

“If convicted, Farrer faces up to 20 years in prison...
He confessed to running a Ponzi scheme and he almost does not seem to understand it,” LMAO

LA Times

[–] TangieChords@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

That’s going to be their legal defense of negligence by incompetence or some shit.

[–] AtheistKiwi@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

But nothing turned red when I put it into Quicken?

The SBF defense.

[–] cafeesparacerradores@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Buckley getting a word in lol

[–] patsfan038@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

I don’t get this flex culture. I honestly think that Neel from TPT is legit but how do you not cringe when you look at this

And if you want your yearly dosage of cringe, watch the introductory segment of the first ever video

The amount of Bros, Bro hugs, LV apparel and super cars increases the cringe level to 9000

[–] arturvolk@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)
[–] patsfan038@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

You should hear them talk! It's like they swallowed the 'Bro dictionary'

Every other sentence is on the the following:

" Bro, last night was lit!"

"Bro, my RM and Ferrari are worth a million dollars, no cap"

"Bro, that's fire!"

I honestly drop IQ points any time I attempt to watch it

[–] brightpixels@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

It’s sad: where was all that margin coming from? I guess nowhere.

[–] MtnSlyr@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

LOL, wtf, this guy's the Sam Bankmab Fried of watch world. There's a parallel to be drawn between watch and crypto. There's a huge overlap in crypto bros and watch bros.

[–] MooseShartley@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

What are the odds Marco Nicolini is next?

[–] b1e@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I hope not. He seemed like the one sane person back when he was with TPG.

[–] DrZeroH@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Jesus. I've been following this over in another subreddit for a while. I am surprised it took them this long to finally throw his ass in jail. Also a lot of people estimate its closer to $5 million but this is a good start.

[–] Nerazzurro9@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

I’m genuinely embarrassed by the number of scammers and criminals who have gotten busted thanks to YouTube videos and IG posts in recent years. You’re running a profitable criminal enterprise, all you have to do is keep your mouth and don’t attract unnecessary attention, and you blow it all up and give the DA a case for a few likes from strangers on the internet? Truly a disgrace to the fine, noble history of con men and organized crime.

[–] kmhpaladin@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Rap snitches, telling all their business

Sit in the court and be their own star witness

"Do you see the perpetrator?" Yeah, I'm right here!

[–] baddumbtsss@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

This mf really did doom himself by posting a public confession 💀

[–] wozzy93@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

20 years doesn’t seem completely fair for 3 million if there are guys who stole many more millions running for president.

[–] jspurlin03@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

What you’re saying is “lots of people are getting insufficient sentencing”, yes? I’d love to see trump sentenced in the same way as this dude.

PRESS RELEASE

Founder of Beverly Hills ‘Gentlemen Timepieces’ Consignment Store Charged with Conning Victims in Luxury Watch Ponzi-Type Scheme

Wednesday, November 8, 2023

For Immediate Release

U.S. Attorney's Office, Central District of California

[–] I578855@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Why is nobody talking about the important part?

Arrested two days ago at a storage facility.
Held overnight (Yesterday)

Scheduled arraignment 1 month from now.

This dude is GONE. If you weren't able to hold him, then he is gonna split the second he gets a chance. They shouldn't have let him go yesterday, but they probably had no choice (?).

He is gonna run to Mexico and then out into the world with his bitcoin.

[–] ShadowsteelGaming@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Sounds like a regular luxury watch dealer to me, why are they arresting him?

[–] L3g3ndary-08@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

“About $3 million of that debt is to two big clients of mine. One who acted as an investor and I used his money to fund my lifestyle.”

Where do I find investors like this?

[–] notausername14@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Without having to supplement the investments with a Ponzi scheme? This is a good start.

[–] midline_trap@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Future tattoo sleeve Rolex guy. Coming right up!

[–] MenosDaBear@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I used to watch some of this guys videos a while back. It’s pretty obvious then that he was screwing people. Not sure why anyone kept trusting him with anything.

[–] sonsofsummer@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Grifters gonna grift.

His account is still up, lots of watch porn. The problem with these guys is that they didn't start out as criminals and never learned how not to get caught. And all he could say was yeah, I did it.

Even Jackie Jr. would have known better.

He faces serious prison time, and when he gets out he'll be lucky to get a job selling watches at Target.

[–] MoonBasic@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

AND he made it about himself even more trying to vlog/redeem his way to pay off his $5m debt journey.

This guy is nothing more than a textbook vapid narcissist that isn't smart enough to actually run a business but likes to act like his idea of a billionaire. Renting lambos, staying in hotels, and running up checks at steakhouses all on camera. Had everything except brain cells and integrity.

Another ponzi schemer who had to rob peter to pay paul all while enriching himself and living the influencer lifestyle. Glad he got his comeuppance and I hope this is a signal to all of the other "watch dealers" everywhere to not F with people's money.

Hey FBI, “Tim Write” and “OC” were gifted birkin bags for their wives by TPG…they were boasting in Las Vegas a few weekends ago about this. Look into them. We also know they were gifted PlayStations, tickets to london, concert tickets, montblanc pens by the Stefano Delacosta aka Watch Wizzard who ran a similar con

[–] Skreamie@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Was it a Ponzi scheme? Where does it mention he ever planned to reimburse anyone? Most Ponzi schemes have some foresight to start patching holes before the hole ship sinks. This just seems like outright theft.

[–] tech1010@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

I was posting 2019/2020 that this guy was a scam artist.

I could tell by his language that something just wasn’t right. I ran a background check on him and he had dozens of DWIs.

I don’t know how anyone fell for his fraud. It was so obvious.

Anyone else read this title too fast and thought Archie Luxury was arrested?
