Henry probably saw Marlons dumbass food takes and said nah this team aint for me smh
NFL
A place for NFL news, game highlights and everything that excites you about American Football.
they’re actually pretty good friends, Henry was a guest on Marlon’s podcast earlier in the season
They played together at Bama.
Henry is on the record saying Wendy's has the best fast food burger.
I'm not saying he's right or wrong, I'm just pointing out that not everyone is perfect
I’m just saying that if it’s not #1 it’s up there. Personally I lean Freddie’s, but they’re not the biggest.
His food takes are almost always spot on
Well, he was 100% wrong.
Wasn't meant to be
I really want Henry to get the Larry Fitz treatment by the team and retire with us. I do not care about the minmax optimization issues our running game will eventually suffer from because of it. Turn him into a Blount/Jamaal Williams scenario and just give him all the goaline runs when he's 35 lmao, idc
I co-sign that completely. I’ve never wanted someone to retire a titan more.
If he remains on the team and stays healthy, he’ll likely eclipse 10,000 yards and 100 TDs by the end of next season. I want that so bad.
In situations like these I typically choose to blame the Falcons. If those dirty birds and rowdy ruffians hadn’t let Will Levis throw for like a quadrillion yards and 4 TDs Henry is in Baltimore right now, binging The Wire to learn more about his cozy new home.
Marlon lost his boner soo fast
Who needs King Henry when we've got UDFA fantasy waiver wire STUD Keaton Mitchell
That is my fantasy lottery ticket you are talking about.
And UDFA Gus Edwards.
Do the Ravens really need additional RB. Their running game and RBs aren't that bad.
Mostly just for depth considering after Dobbins injury Gus Edwards is our last proven RB
Though if Keaton Mitchell is for real that will help a lot
Mitchell is still unproven and has started the year pretty injured. So he's a wild card at best.
Gus, statistically, is having a below average year. That could either be wear and tear on him or our new OC doesn't run the ball and scheme up elite running plays like Roman did. Roman may have been a terrorist for the passing game but he was a savant for the run game.
Hill isn't a premier back and despite a few nice runs, isn't anything special. A nice depth piece.
Our running game is also propped up by Lamar running the ball. We've always had him be a high percentage of our run but you typically don't see 30% of your rushing yards in your QB.
Adding in a premier back such as Henry takes a ton of pressure off our pass game and it allows our RB's more depth and less touches leading to fresher backs. Gus is great for our team but no one is sitting here saying that Gus is in the same category as Henry. (Minus yards per attempt).
Henry is washed up
People just say the dumbest things on here man
Cowboys fan thinks he knows football LMAO
The ravens lost to Gardner minshew
Well, I have coached it...so...
One of the coaches of all time
Honestly that would have made our roster too stacked. That's just inviting bad injury karma.
Considering they're already one of the top teams in Super Bowl contention, I think getting Henry would've pushed them over the top and likely guaranteed it (as long as Lamar doesn't get hurt again). Cycling through their good/great RBs, making everyone commit to stopping the run and then Lamar doing his magic through the air would be too much to stop, especially with also having a good defense.
Anyway, get rekt birdie boys lol (jk, I'm still scared of what you have already)
*great defense. Other than that though you're spot on
Henry, Gus and Keaton is what dreams are made of
No one runs the ball with as much might as Henry.
I wish!! Would have been a BEAST IN BALTIMORE !! :)
The fact anyone thought we would trade Henry to the Ravens is wild to me. We hate them more than anyone in our division. People are so reactionary.
wouldn’t be the first time
Hate doesn’t factor into most well run football operations believe it or not
Not trading Henry is frankly baffling IMO and I’m a Henry truther.
The only logical conclusion I can think of is the titans think they remain competitive, but then the Eagles trade makes less sense.
They didn't trade for him but maybe they can give him a 5 year $175m guaranteed contract this off-season
Nobody is going to willingly reveal a thing to Marlon lol.
I mean wasn't it confirmed they had a deal in place and Amy Adam's vetoed it?
last I heard, it was confirmed that Amy didn't veto anything
Reddit values late round draft picks way more than actual NFL GMs do
As I said then, the Titans messaging was just damage control, the owner veto’d the trade the GM had in place, but didn’t want that narrative floating around that she overruled him.
The hate that the fanbase and the coaching staff have for Gus continues to confuse me.
We have an amazing RB1 with two capable back ups.
