That's a really good point. I saw stats from Dak this season and thought he might be a real MVP candidate, just because he's probably been the best QB statistically. But, has he been an MVP? Man, I don't think he's been that good. He just looks good because there's no real standout at QB. Should he get it over Garrett? Not in my opinion.

Garrett is on pace for 22 sacks.

This is kind of how it feels sometimes.

By the nature of the position, QB is usually the most valuable player on any given team. There are some exceptions, but usually, a team can live or die based on the health of their QB. Take a team like the Vikings. They haven't had Justin Jefferson, who is easily their actual best player. But people thought their season was officially done when Cousins got hurt....until they got Dobbs, who is playing really well.

I think at the very least, OPOY shouldn't be the same player that won MVP except for very rare circumstances where a guy is just that good.

I honestly thought that was perfect defense. There was a little contact, but I didn't think it was enough for PI.
