So the premier league follows up an incompetent refereeing display with an “independent panel” that’s rigged to back up the incompetent refereeing, in an attempt to placate fans. This is just offensive to me as a fan, legitimately not sure if I can keep watching this trash.

The hysteria of some redditors' reactions matches that of Arteta. Talk about embarrassing and ashamed

Holy shit, the fucking state of Arsenal fans in this sub, man.

Lol. Like a black man in KKK country getting an independent jury! Don’t fuck with us. Pissing in our pockets and telling us it’s raining. Whose on the inpendent panel? No motherfuckers are neutral about Arsenal.

The fact that the panel can have ex players on is mental. Just opens it up to “Well that was never a foul in my day because were tough” bullshit.

I honestly thought Bruno could have got a retrospective ban for that challenge on Jorginho.

Off the ball, not in view of the referee, violent conduct, contact with the players head & with force. It has all the hallmarks of a retrospective ban.

Well let’s unpack this logic here:

Gabriel is already going for the ball so he can’t be fouled, right?

So, given that logic, Kai Havertz then should NOT see red because his opponent too had already made a move for the ball? Can’t have it both ways ya?

I've moved on but this is the first time I've heard about this Independent Key Match Incidents Panel

[–] nlloyd16@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

From ESPN's article

"The panel has five members, made up of three former players and/or coaches, plus one representative each from the Premier League and PGMOL. It was set up at the start of last season to give an independent assessment of decision-making rather than relying on the views of PGMOL or the clubs themselves."

So it's not much different than any pundit or fan off the street's opinion since they don't have to have taken an official course.

More evidence corruptiong is evidenced in our game.

It took a couple of days for the wire transfer to hit the panel’s accounts
