prime of example of how important first touches are.

Should’ve been a Pedro goal if it’s at 15th mins

Google João Pedro 15 for more info

I knew having to work today and not being able to watch would help with smth lol

Look man, I think Barca hyped him up too much and injuries have fucked him, but for the National teams sake we need all the help we can get, so I am happy with his mini resurgance

[–] AckBarRs@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Hype was 100% merited before his knee exploded. Finishing and positioning were genuinely incredible for his age, he looked like a seasoned striker with 8 top-flight seasons under his belt.

His knee exploding robbed him of his ability to dribble and create and get into the positions where he can really shine though (also last seasons tactics were poorly suited to his strengths). I think he’s likely to be converted to a 9 very soon where he isn’t as pace/dribble-dependent.

Still can’t believe that he’s playing for Brighton

Great goal and pace of ansu fati. Looks physically fitter than last season

[–] LeatherSteak@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Strangely enough I was surprised by his relative lack of pace compared to a couple of years ago for Barca.

Showed good composure and touch though, which was nice.

Imagine hearing last fall that Ansu Fati would be scoring for Brighton against Ajax in Europe

Great assist from Ajax

Fucking hell Vos what are you doing?

[–] TimathanDuncan@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Football is truly remarkable because once shit starts going to shit on you, it's so hard to stop

[–] msr1709@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Never a good sign when a goal highlight starts with the team that conceded with possession 😬

[–] 4_Eyes_Only@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Gotta feel sorry for Vos there. Very talented player but also very inexperienced. Such a shame though because Ajax was looking good again so far.

[–] nutelamitbutter@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

He’s getting better and better!

[–] Martyrizing@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

Shocking from Vos, but not unexpected at this age and against a level of opposition he's never faced before.

Good first touch by Ansu away from the defender. Glad its working out.

[–] whyborg@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago

TIL Ansu Fati is in Brighton. For a moment I thought this was a FM subreddit

[–] Muraria@alien.top 1 points 1 year ago
