Black spots, wear marks near the clasp, among other things.

What are you guys best way to clean/maintain your timepieces?

I wear them in the shower periodically.

Strip the watch down, clean it with soapy water and a baby toothbrush. You can refinish the strap, use either masking tape or heat tape.

Scotchbright for the rebrushing and Cap Cod cloths for the polishing.
