My previous ventures have covered the cost of most of what is in that collection.
Amazingly.... I've been looking at the Chronomaster! Probably why I'm looking at moving some of the watches on, only two were actually brought brand new so I very likely get my money back but could well make money on most of the sales.
Only two of them were brought brand new so I'm not deep in the hole at least. It's so interesting to see everyone's opinion and it's all valuable to me.
Strip the watch down, clean it with soapy water and a baby toothbrush. You can refinish the strap, use either masking tape or heat tape.
Scotchbright for the rebrushing and Cap Cod cloths for the polishing.
I needed a new watch and brought myself the Seiko Diver. I got the Seiko GMT used, cheap, sub £200, needed some rebrushing and polishing. The intention was to sell it but I fell in love with it and it's ended up pushing everything else out.
This will be my boy's first watch, he'll learn to tell the time with this and hopefully carry it with him on his journey through his young life and perhaps, beyond. He'll have access to the rest of my collection but this is just for him.
Someone is terrible in private. I am shocked.
That's the correct statement, no need to phrase it any other way. A lot of people are utter shit.
