This is just a response to the many, many people who read a headline and Reddit post about LeBron charging $23 for admission to a museum about himself, and not reading any other context apart from that. From my very quick and cursory Google searching, Reuters says that "All proceeds from ticket sales will go back into the community."

According to Sports Illustrated, "it reads on the museum’s Eventbrite page. 'Located inside the LeBron James Family Foundation’s House Three Thirty venue, all proceeds from ticket sales will go back into the community through House Three Thirty’s innovative job training model that employs I PROMISE students, parents, educators and family members.'"

So there's your reason about him charging admission. This was just a response to the braindead reactionary top-responses of "he must be a narcissistic capitalist." As if someone would choose to have such bad optics, even if you hate him, lmao
