I want to build a server for my home. I am particular about my motherboards. I only trust Gigabyte or AsRock. I don't need a lot of power, it's just for my own kvm server (linux) with linux guests where I develop web apps inside of. For this reason, I want a low cpu TDP (65 watts if possible).

I see that the new gen of xeons are 85 watts which is a little high for me. It would be nice if I could find a workstation motherboard that uses Ryzen 9 or 7, which I do see has 65 watts.

Can anyone recommend a Gigabyte/AsRock workstation/server board with a 65 watts or 85 watts cpu? I have been looking around but it is really hard for me to find server motherboards to match the cpus I think I want.

Note: doing this also so I can have ECC memory

I know you only looking at Gigabyte/ASRock but may want to look at Supermicro. Built-in IPMI and optional 10GbE & SAS built-in. Configurator at wiredzone.com

Motherboard form-factors from mini-ATX to full ATX.

depending how much IO you need, and size. Asrock has a bunch of options, ITX, mATX,

X570D4U-2L2T/BCM and any ryzen thats 65w that it supports, for example a ryzen 3100.
