So it's quite obvious how all these cuts hurt Republicans and red states the most, but what's the end game?

My guess is they are trying to do everything they can to incite violence so they can declare martial law.
I guess they underestimate how much the left values non-violent resistance. They wont throw the first punch. I don't agree with it, but I think the regime is pissed off by it. Everything seems to be clogging the wheels, the courts throwing things out, investigations, lawsuits. They need Martial Law to be able to use an Iron Fist. And they have to be completely certain that Iron Fist will hold.
The abandonment of rural fiber killed any hope enticing remote workers out of cities. This is just another nail rural Americas coffin.
And they're all voting Republican next year, to own the libs.
