Hands down the best Lemmy client. One thing that bothers me is that clicking on reply notifcations takes you to "mentioned" notifications not replies - is that fixed yet?

[–] Die4Ever@programming.dev 10 points 1 year ago

Yep it is fixed, I tested it with your comment lol. This is something that annoyed me too

I just made a post about this the other day. I'll go ahead and take credit for it

Thanks for exists, best app I've ever use since reddit. Thank you Ruben Mayayo.

Huh, the new behavior to view/interact with images in comments is kind of weird - seems to open them in a different way compared to images in a post (external browser, I think?)

Besides that oddity it seems to be running great so far!

Wishing for a way to mark as read on scroll

1.0.2 Seems to be available for beta testers now, not public yet

[–] Die4Ever@programming.dev 2 points 1 year ago (2 children)

I forgot I was in the beta!

[–] papalonian@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm in the beta but it's not updating for me, did you have to do anything specific to get the update?

[–] Die4Ever@programming.dev 1 points 1 year ago

I didn't have to do anything special, but it could be a staged rollout, might just be luck of the draw

[–] FireWire400@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Pinned posts are nearly indistinguishable from normal ones once read, a little pin icon next to them like on desktop would be perfect

[–] RaulitoElLobito@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Why doesn't the dev post here like he did for reddit?

[–] Die4Ever@programming.dev 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I might've just beaten him to the punch on this one. This update is only for beta testers. I've seen him in comments before.

[–] RaulitoElLobito@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That's not it, he's very silent on lemmy compared to reddit

[–] Sentau@feddit.de 2 points 1 year ago

Well it's similar with sync. LJ was active on the sync community but was not active on other communities at all. I think it is more like a job for them now and that they don't particularly enjoy using lemmy

Almost perfect just needs to remove downvotes on instances where they're disabled and it's perfect :)

I think I wanna join the beta, since my actual version acts weird when I swipe up to go back from a photo to the feed: it remains grayed, fully functional, but grayed
