It’s by design. To get the full “highlights” they want you to feel like you gotta tune in.

A place for NFL news, game highlights and everything that excites you about American Football.
Rushed products. These usually come out ASAP after the game is over
"How is the biggest and richest sport organization in America bad at highlights"
A question I have if you replace "highlight" with "making a website."
NFL.com looks like a website from 15 years ago.
I haven't had awful experiences in the past few seasons. I found it a good way to "catch up" on a missed game.
This season, I may have already seen most of the big plays/moments beforehand on twitter or here or some shit. I'll play attention next time.
It's definitely not the original poster. The original poster is never never imperfect. /S
You should see how ESPN’s YT team ~~butchers~~ handles college ball highlights.
I don’t watch full games anymore, Just the highlights. But the thumbnails always ruin them for me bc they put the winner of the game as the highlight in the thumbnail so it gives it away. I have to squint and click on the games I care about most in hopes of not seeing the thumbnail clearly.
Nearly every highlights game video has one play repeated around the middle.
Because they don’t give a shit if it’s any good. Same with the ESPN app. You have to watch a 30 second ad and then the “game highlights” is 1 play.
Well, the highlights suck because the NFL hasn't figured out which players they want to fine yet.
Marketing and PR rarely align with actual public interest
