I read people are calling the Pangolin different names (11, 12) and that 13 is on its way. But where do I see that and what the version of the current one is (that they sell right now)?

The pang13 is the current latest model.

A small "hack" if you click design & buy on any model, it is in the url

Though it is also on the tech specs page, model name is often shortened (pang13) but the number is the current model #.
