Why yes it is! Aaaaah, the blessings of an IT dad :-) And if you're gonna play Hocus Pocus, or Whacky Racing... might as well do it in style! The power button was a real chonker as well, 
a bit like this one, except with more soul leeching beiges and browns. I remember I thought the CD caddy was already pretty dumb back then but hey, if that makes the twilight discs work, I'll take it.
