i wanna ask though, will impedance adapter help with driving it? or does it make the para even harder to drive?

Short of a transformer so your amp sees something more healthy than those 8 ohms, I don't know. The problem is twofold - these are not very efficient (80dB/mW vs 105dB/mW on the HD600) so they need actual power to work. The 8 ohm impedance just means that the way the power needs to be delivered is super inconvenient for most headamps. Think of the Para more like a 110dB/W speaker.
$400 lol...
pls dont look at my flare.
Shenzhen has them for 254$ right now.
$197 if you buy from Shenzhen Audio through AliExpress and stack the discounts.
You need to find a working $40/250 code for the final checkout. I think I used $40/250 – 11SALE40
but it may not still work. Can Google for more codes though, I used another one to get the Blessing 3 (also from Shenzhen Audio) for $222.
Under 200$ it's a screaming deal imho.
I still cannot choose between this and sundara
That's a cointoss. Para looks more behaved in the mids but as I've said - they gobble up current like mad. https://vsg.squig.link/?share=Harman_Combined_Over-Ear_Target,HIFIMAN_Sundara,MOONDROP_PARA_hybrid
Moondrop QC vs Hifiman QC, both will lose.
Yup...
Just get something else. Anything (except focal)
PARA for me.
tl;dr on why you prefer Para?
Hoping my Atom amp will be up to the challenge. 8 ohms is hilarious
The JDS Labs Atom was tested down to 12 ohms. It might do it but it won't like the load one bit.
