Just trying to one up us from last year, eh?
NFL
A place for NFL news, game highlights and everything that excites you about American Football.
The packers actually have a better point differential.
You could call them the Lakers of the NFL.
I honestly love it.
Mike Tomlin out here doing some voodoo fuckin' witchcraft to pull this offense across the line.
Tomlin is just unreal as a leader of men. It doesn't get mentioned enough but god damn is he great as a HC.
The league should force a mid season mediocre bowl between the Seahawks (6-3) and the Steelers. We’re at -1 point differential, have run 79 fewer plays than our opponents, and have been out-gained by a couple hundred yards. Though we haven’t been out-gained every game. So maybe it’s different than what the Steelers are doing.
I want 2022 Vikings vs 2023 Steelers
Sounds like my fantasy team
At this point we have to wonder if not trading Booth Matt for Sideline Matt was keeping us back this whole time.
The AFC better watch out, cause the Steelers are sucking their way to the top.
new era Vikings
It's not pretty, but we're getting it done LMAO.
The AFC North is always so insane. It's like the NFC East except half the teams aren't total shit every other season.
Reminds me a lot of last season's NY Giants. Won a lot of close games.
Because Mike Tomlin is the best coach in the NFL. I'm a Cleveland fan and saying it ain't easy, BUT the man just knows how to coach with whatever hes got in front of him. Every year
If someone is a Steelers fan and a Iowa Hawkeyes fan, I have to ask. How the hell do you make it through a weekend watching them?
That's Steelers football baby, and if you're not down with that, I got two words for ya...
jets sweep?
If you don’t like that, you don’t like Pittsburg Steelers football
I’ll certainly take 6 wins through 9 games, but how sustainable is it, really?
They remind me of another black and yellow football team who plays on Saturdays
5 wins by a single score. This defense is incredible, and somehow, the offense is just good enough--usually in the 4th quarter. I'm not sure how sustainable this is.
See 2022 Vikings for reference
Is this team better or worse than the "Worst 11-0 team of all time" or whatever they were a couple years ago?
They’re tied with the Eagles for #1 in the luck index. That’s got something to do with it.
To be fair, success in the NFL always turns on a bit of luck. And the Browns aren’t far behind, at #6.
But the Steelers’ luck rating (2.0) is on a different tier than the Browns’ (0.8). You’d expect some regression there at some point.
Then again, the Steelers are often like Billy Zane in Titanic—they somehow make their own luck.
Veni, vidi, voodoo.
