Honestly I’d be so excited to see a new team break into the upper crust in Spain (or anywhere in the world) but just like Leipzig, Newcastle, or City, it’s a bullshit rise fueled by financial injection. Girona is an extremely underappreciated and underhyped team. They're leading La Liga and we're heading into December soon. I don't see nearly enough people and media outlets talking about them.
