I enjoy the life in a watch that's constantly moving. The chronometers I usually see have an hour hand, minute hand, and a micro seconds hand usually on a bicompax set up.

Are there watches where there is a large moving seconds hand, but also a chronometer tracker ?

You mean chronograph, not chronometer.

The Lorus rt351gx9 is one example but that makes the bezel practicaly useless.

I see what you mean. I wish it also has a smoother second hand ticking motion.

That's not the normal way a chronograph works. I'm not aware of any off the top of my head. There may be a weird one out there somewhere, but it won't be a modern watch.

If you like a ticking center second hand and some other sub dials with visual interest, look for field watches with a 24-hour display or something like the Maen Brooklyn, which has subdials for the day and date.

Citizen E820 movements do this… kind of. In timekeeping mode, the chronograph is disabled and the sweeping seconds stays running like a 3 hander. In chrono mode, the sweeping seconds flips up to 12 and turns with the chronograph.

TIL about watches with modes. These are cool, I'll be looking into these

How would you describe to look for watches with these modes online?
