What Ben has been able to accomplish with Goff is nothing short of spectacular. It’s worth pointing out that Detroit has a stout and experienced OL, with good weapons across the board, but I think an offensive mind like Johnson could really unlock something special in LA.

This Chargers team obviously needs to figure things out defensive above anything else, but I believe that they’re 1 solid coordinator away from making major strides in that area. They have elite level talent at key positions (Bosa, Mack, James, etc.)

Thoughts?

Ben Johnson burned down an orphanage.

He swears it was on accident, but there were reports of him laughing manically so I don’t know what to believe.

Is Ben Johnson going to fix the defense? The Chargers offense hasn't really been a problem during Herbert's time there.

I personally would like him if the Cowboys fire Big Mike, but Herbert and Johnson is an awesome duo

Inbe4 they hire Leslie Frazier

the offense isnt the problem. people made a big deal about hiring kellen moore but the offense was 5th in points in 2021 and 13th in 2022 (with herbert playing with busted ribs). theyre 8th this year.

the lions average .2 more ppg than the chargers.

Ben Johnson puts mayonnaise on his steaks.

Regardless of my flair, you're a fool if you think more offense is what solves the Chargers problems

The path to success for the Chargers starts with kicking the Spanos family to the curb

Ben Johnson is allowed to go to Atlanta or nowhere. If love to see what he could cook up with Pitts, London and Bijan. Just fire that incompetent jackass and get an actual QB

Why would Ben Johnson want to work with Dean Spanish lmao

I see we're now moving away from the "Ben Johnson is doing really incredible work and we should be giving him credit" phase and into the "Ben Johnson is the magical solution that will fix any bad team" phase.

I think adding Ben Johnson would probably make the Chargers much better, but I also thought that adding Kellen Moore would make the Chargers much better and that hasn't (yet) materialized.

Sometimes football personnel decisions are more complicated than "hire a guy who is doing well and expect him to perform exactly as well (or better) in a completely different situation"

The Chargers put on an offensive clinic against the Lions yesterday, especially in the second half when they started running hurry-up and we couldn’t do shit. We only made it out with the win because their defense is so bad.
