Endrick is way too raw to be a starting striker for RM. I hope Perez signs someone so we won’t have the same problem we are having now, only one striker in the team, Joselu this season and Endrick in the next one. Endrick should mix Castilla games with some first team appearances.

[–] pauloh1998@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

You have to take into consideration that Endrick barely played in, like, half of these 56 matches. His evolution in the last months have been pretty evident, I think he'll definitely ruin many defenders' day when he arrives at Madrid

[–] WiddleBlueBert@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Still mad they passed up on Kane, would've been perfect to allow for Endrick to develop alongside and eventually replace him once he declined.

Neymar looks so different in that picture if I didnt know it was him i would not have recognized him

[–] natsleepyandhappy@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

That is why he is still called in Brazil “menino Ney” or Kid Ney.

[–] James_D_MESSIAH@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (3 children)

R9 is the best no.9 in history. simple as that

Top 3 no.9 of all time

1.R9

2.gerd muller

3.Suarez

[–] YesTottiYesParty@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Zlatan and Shearer on par with Suarez, Bati-gol, Henry and van Basten ahead.

And none of us saw Stefano play but...

[–] Marcelosouzadearaujo@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Zlatan never did anything in the CL, beautiful goals but his best stats were in the French league

[–] toadshredder69@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I remember arguments on r/soccer I had years ago where people told me Gerd was far better than Ronaldo because he scored more goals and that made him a better player.

[–] 400F@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Suarez can’t be top 3 when he has 27 goals in the Champions League.

[–] portmz@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (4 children)

Pato left Brazil with only 27 official games, but he scored 12 goals and had 1 assist, all of that before turning 18. Unfortunately his career wasn’t what we expected, but his first professional years are also really impressive.

[–] Gold_Association_208@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I heard cafu talking about him and he was so impressed with him. Maldini and him took turns marking him in training.

[–] PapaKloppssmile@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I miss pato

[–] carolina_balam@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I remember milan paying 25 mil for pato at 17y old or smth like that

[–] Mmac360@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Chelsea legend.

[–] ForzaJuventusFC@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (3 children)

For all of you who didn't see Ronaldo play ... Man .. guy is the best 9 I've ever seen. All he missed was being an aerial threat

[–] empiresk@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

The only striker I will say was hands down better than Shearer. Ronaldo on form was unplayable. Youths these days just don't get how good he was.

[–] El_Capitano83@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

He never needed the ball in the air.

Endrick so bad lmfaooo

[–] Sente-se@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

It should be pointed out that Endrick reached 56 games younger than the other two, tbh (which also led to him playing fewer minutes per game). I think both were already over 18 at that point, and Endrick is 17 and 4 months.

[–] flawless_victory99@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Because R9 was a freak of nature. The only teenager with a similar or possibly better record is Pele.

[–] HurensohnRiotgames@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

What are Haalands Stats for the first 56 professional games?

[–] BarryButcher@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Haaland's was similar to Neymar. He had 0 goals in his first 16 games but he was only 15 when he made his debut

20 goals, 6 assists in his next 50 games afterwards then exploded once he turned 18 and moved to Salzburg

[–] bewarethegap@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Ronaldo with good knees is easily the GOAT, imo. Imagine if he was able to stay fit and reach his natural peak without injury? Yuck.

[–] Wisdom_Seeker2308@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

The way he played probably caused these injuries unfortunately

[–] holowa07@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Ronaldo was phenomenal. I remember as a kid, watching one of the 2002 World Cup games (Brazil vs Turkey, semifinals). A hard game, and suddenly he gets the ball and carries it from midfield to close the area and shoots it in a fantastic way. One of the most brautiful goals I've ever seen.

[–] fredbogho@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Keep in mind this was a shell of what was prime Ronaldo. And still he dominated the WC.

[–] _Wastrel@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I'm lucky enough to have seen this guy play for a while. Ronaldo was...something else. An absolute beast, fast like an arrow, and strong like a fucking brickwall

[–] hotelmotelshit@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

OG Ronaldo was a beast

[–] dont_wear_a_C@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

No way, that's Ney?! Looks sooo different

[–] KingPaimon23@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

This list is really stupid. Games that Endrick played for 1 minute are being counted on this, while Neymar and Ronaldo were starters from very early.

[–] daveyhempton@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Comparison by age and minutes played would be way better imo

[–] daboatfromupnorth@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

What kind of 17 year old bags almost a goal a game from the very start 😭

What could’ve been

[–] Shadeun@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Il fenomeno :( Why did medicine fail you.

I'd give up CR7 just have have had you at your peak for 5 more years

[–] Jucky429@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago
[–] rouges@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

R9 is the greatest forward ever no question. He had Romario's technical abilities plus he was fast as a gazelle

Il fenomeno

[–] tk_79@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I’ve watched football since 1990 and r9 at his peak was IMHO better than Messi, Ronaldo or anyone else I’ve watched. I can’t speak for maradona and pele as I never watched them live. If r9 had the dedication of cr7 and durability of Messi , I think he could be the GOAT

[–] FongJohnsen@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

If you've watched football since 1990 you really should have seen Maradona, he played in the 1990 and 1994 world cups.

[–] tk_79@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Typo , I watched Italia 90 but only properly started leagues watching around 93. He was amazing in usa94, maybe the argies could have won it if he didn’t get disqualified……

[–] Jon98th@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Real Ronaldo was a beast

[–] SSJ7Nick@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Los numeros de Ronaldo son bestiales.

[–] KapteinBert@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Ronaldo was so good that as a youngster our team would organize multiple trips to see psv play.

[–] NicolasDavies93@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I mean, Endrick was a sub for most of them

[–] stoneandnjpwfan@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

R9 is on another level

[–] babywanker@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

and they’re really calling this endrick mf the next pele 😭

[–] ollien25@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

For some reason Ronaldo then went to PSV Eindhoven???

[–] Jasonmancer@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Il fenomeno is just different.

I've always thought had he not been hit with injury all the time and played on a team with a working system, he'd possibly achieved everything Messi achieved today.
