Ishmael.

It opened my eyes to the human condition and helped me to find a grounding connection with nature and balance. It was the first book that really made me question everything after finishing it.

I don’t believe single book can change life, but consistently reading can.

Fanatical Prospecting - Jeb Blount. Definitely more granular than a lot of the suggestions here, but I would say it’s nearly 100% practical advice

The Rocks Don’t Lie: A Geologist Investigates Noah’s Flood

As a longtime evangelical, this book made me realize that the Bible was wrong about the flood account. It was a watershed moment in my life.

I mean honestly for me none of them. Years ago I did the whole reading and studying and looking over stuff. I thought I found books that changed my life. But really they just made me stop and slow down and think and not actually work on my business. Putting down the books and actually getting out and doing the work that's what changed my life.

Can't Hurt Me - David Goggins.

Came across his book accidentally at the perfect time, pulled me out of a deep, dark pit.

All the great financial/business related books have been mentioned.

So I want to name another that changed my life for the better in terms of making important life decisions:

Stoner by John Williams

Why? Through this book you live through someone’s entire life, you feel it from beginning to end. You get to see how decisions make impact and life follows. After reading it makes you feel empowered to avert the mistakes from Stoner’s life and it’s primarily in the form of outlook, mentality and decision making.

A man’s search for meaning. Read it after graduating high school really made me analyze the life that I live and the thoughts I was having.

I don't know if I would call it life-changing, but it was definitely an eye-opening read. Anyways, said book is "War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America's Campaign to Create a Master Race" by Edwin Black.

The Power of Positive Thinking. It’s a little preachy, but absolutely transformative. It’s like giving yourself a superpower. I recommend it to everyone.
