Fairphone Mini WHEN???

What's the best way to decrease trash in the world? Make it smaller!!

I don't care if screen's shittier, or battery lasts less. That's almost part of the point! Stop the useless overuse of smartphones! Make it an actual tool, not a drug.

Disclaimer: Opinion for India only.

iPhone level cost with nearly 4 times low performance without any support other than software. Pass.

What do you mean "no support other than software"? If the whole idea about Fairphone is to make phones that easy to be repaired, why would they also offer extensive hardware support?

[–] reddit_sux@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Hardware support in India is near impossible to get since it is out of EU.

[–] rglullis 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I get that, but AFAIk they don't have any special support anywhere. What kind of support would you expect here?

We can't get the phone easily, parts are similarly impossible.

"Not available in my country" is a different problem than "no hardware support".

Your first comment seemed to indicate that your issue was with lack of "hardware support", and this is why I was puzzled.
